You’re Invited: Special Breakfast!

Please join us on Sunday, Jan. 22, for a special breakfast and show our Sunday school students that all of FVJN values 00935c33-83b4-4392-a256-66d581e84859community service!

Community Service is an important part of the curriculum at Fox Valley Jewish School.  Each year all the students learn about and support a selected nonprofit organization.  This year they are working with Phillips Park Zoo in Aurora.  This zoo provides homes for wild animals that cannot survive in the wild due to injury or some other difficulty.  It also educates the public on the wildlife in the area and how we can create an environment that works for people and wildlife.

The students visited the zoo in October and made treat containers for the animals in art class.  Their next project is a pancake breakfast fundraiser and you are invited! Please show the students that all of FVJN values community service by coming to this event.  Breakfast will be served from 9:45-10:30 a.m. downstairs at FVJN.  The cost is $3 per person.  Please respond to mimevans83@gmail.com with the number of people who will attend so we know how much food to prepare.  Thanks and we look forward to seeing you on 1/22.
