Important News from Fox Valley Jewish School

Sunday, May 17 is our last day of class! We are very excited to begin work on the mural that day. The latest draft is below. All students will have a regular class schedule from 9:30-10:30. From 10:30-11:30 all students and their parents are invited to the mural workshop! Our artist, Danielle Dobies, will be here to teach everyone how to make the mural. This will be great hands on fun and also prepare everyone to drop in and work on the mural over the summer. Please plan to attend.

We have purchased some safety glasses, ceramic tile nippers and glass tile nippers but need more. Please bring any of these things that you have. Also, please bring any work gloves you have for children and adults.

The students have been preparing to conduct a service for their families on Friday, May 22 at 6:30. Please plan to attend. Email rachely@fvjn.org to let her know how many are coming, what you can bring for the oneg, and if you can help with set up or clean up.

We are getting ready for next year. We are pleased to announce that Danielle Dobies will not only continue to work with us on the mural, but also will be our new art teacher. Danielle is looking forward to sharing some great projects with the kids.

Registration forms for next year will be available on May 17. We are pleased to be able to offer Fox Valley Jewish School at the same tuition levels as this year. Please register your children early so we can plan a great next school year for them. We are progressing on our search for a new upper grades core teacher and hope to have an announcement soon.
